Registration

Overview

You can register for either the full conference (4-days) or individual days.
Full conference registration includes:

  • Conference and keynote talk participation for the 15th-18th of September
  • Daily lunches
  • Opening reception on Monday evening (15th of September)
  • Ghent welcome drinks on Tuesday evening (16th of September)
  • Conference dinner at the Royal Museums of Art and History on Thursday evening (18th of September)
  • Transport between Ghent and Brussels and back on Thursday (18th of September)

The individual days follow a themed track, see the Programme for the themed days. Single day registration includes:

  • Conference and keynote talk participation on the day(s) that are registered for
  • Lunch on the day(s) that are registered for
  • Ghent Welcome Drinks on Tuesday evening (16th of September)
  • ONLY if 18th of September is chosen: conference dinner in Brussels and transport from Ghent to Brussels and back

All food will be plant-based.

PhD Workshop

The four day conference will be followed by a workshop for PhD students on Linked Open Data and Stylometry taught by Dr. Adam Anderson (UC Berkeley) and Dr. Jeroen De Gussem (Ghent University) respectively. It is organised in collaboration with the Doctoral School at Ghent University. The workshop consists of two Transferable Skills 3 hours courses in a hands-on sprint format including coffee breaks and lunch. Students will actively engage with the data and state-of-the-art methodologies after which they will be able to apply the learned methodologies on their own research data.

The PhD Workshop is open for all PhD students, either in combination with the conference or separately from it, but registration is required. PhD Students enrolled in Flemish Universities can register for free, other PhD students pay a fee (€15).
